Announcement!
I know that out in the big, bright world, it is usually the mommy and
daddy who announce the baby's arrival. Well, there's still 7 months
before my auspicious debut, but I'm announcing myself. Now. See, Mommy
is keeping me hush-hush. And her cold shoulder has Daddy in a dither.
But Mommy has always loved Daddy... and though they got awfully close
the night I appeared, he's never uttered those three little words. (No,
not "change my diaper.") Gee whiz – parents! I just know they'll
work it out because babies are all about hope... and this baby won't
stand for anything but a happy ending.
